NoHiddenPay introduces the new standard description of LWD tool geometry.
Each SONDE File describes a particular LWD tool. Each tool and each size of tool has it's own SONDE File.
Initially these SONDE Files have been developed from the information contained in the SPWLA LWD Tool Catalog.
Several Tool Manufacturers have since furnished updated information to enhance the results produced when using them.
Each algorithm developed by NHP will use these standard SONDE Files.
The Sonde Files are available for Viewing or Downloading from the GeoFinder application.
Some SONDE Files are "private". There are instances where an tool manufacturer does not want the contents of the SONDE File to be distributed. In this case the SONDE File marked "private" can be used by the software but the user can not View Or Download it. Please contact NoHiddenPay for more information.
Here is the current list of SONDE files:
Some SONDE File tool sizes have more than one SONDE File listed.
These SONDE Files have a suffix (2, 4, L) that denotes that the SONDE File is for a reduced data set.
For example, a SONDE File with a suffix of "L" contains only the long spacing resistivity channels.
Whereas, the SONDE File without a suffix contains all of the channels for that tool / size.
The content of the Sonde File is described in the following document:
